Fashion of the moment - Autumn/Winter 2011

We're still in summermood, but yes, Autum and Winter are coming up! So:
What are the fashiontrends these cold seasons? The colours that we've seen through the present year, are they still cool and fancy enough to wear? Find out!

First of all: Mustard Yellow.

This is thé colour of the cold seasons! As as scarf, legging, trousers, bag, glasses, t-shirt, blazer: wear it how you like to wear it, it will be hot. Try to match it with colours like black, brown (chocolatebrown is a good one), navy blue, green and red.

Second: A rainbow of colors, mixed up together. 

What we've seen in Spring and Summer: it's still happening and hot. Yellow, blue, purple, green, pink, and last but not least: orange! This colour has been seen on the runway, on great celebrities and on the street! Also  emerald green and turquoise are primar colours this Winter and Autumn.  

And: Scarfs! 

Especially colours like brown, broken white, mustard yellow (dûhh), burgundy (not only as a scarf, try a dress or trousers too), black and grey are the ones that must be worn. Knitted circle scarfs (these are made of one piece, you can put them on to your neck once or twice) are great if you wear a blazer or just a simple t-shirt. And.. they're not only for women!

Also: Translucent clothes.

On runway we see them quite extreme, like reallly long dresses where you can see the hole body of the model, but how we like to do it: as a blouse! Put on a nice white shirt and put over it a translucent blouse, in which colour you would like to wear it. Put some jeans under it and wear them with brown ankle boots.

And: Maxi coats.

Very long coats, mostly trenchcoats. Nice and warm for the cold winterdays. Wear them if you're tall, when you're small (like I am) you will look even smaller.

Also: Trousers with a high waist.

What we've seen like a thousand years ago (it seems), it's back! Wear them as a jeans or pants, put on a loose t-shirt or blouse and you will be irrestistible. 

For men and for women: (Padded) leather jackets!

Yes people, Grease lightning! Leather jackets are worn all over the world, not only when you're walking through the snow, you can wear them (if they're not padded) also when you're at home or at work!
